1.I tthink you can get it done in shops actually like game and currys and shit. Its legal to chip it but not legal to copy the games.
2. Best bet would be the internet or some sketchy market. Ebay?
3. So they get all their Moneyz

oli already asked your question so I wont bother, but just something I was wondering before, why hasnt a company built a console that will play ps2/gamecube/xbox etc. games? if its possible to do surely they would make a shit load of money from it because poeple would save so much buying one console that can play multiple types of games on that everyone would buy it.
or is this not possible and im jsut stupid

I'd buy that shit in a second!
but im pretty sure the technologies on playing the games is copywrited ?(I could be wrong though)

I dont really know, I would of thought the only law suit they would have would be loss of profit from people not buying their consoles or something, but you can buy the controls and memory cards and shit made by different companys that aint licensed by ps2.

Because it would take years to build. Emus for systems like SNES and GameBoy are easy (If you know your shit) because there only like 16bit. But making a system to play the new systems.... I dont think anyone would even try it. The PS1 has one.. abd so does the N64... I think the ywill be the last until some new code comes out.
There are some out but they have bugs and dont play all games. And alot cant do the sound.
And no big name shops will chip PS2s or XBOX.... I asked in my local GAME store and they said it is illigal as XBOX and PS2 have rights to there motherbords and modding it breaks them rights. But you can buy them online and even though it sounds hard it is easy if you read the guides.
