Why won't my fucking presents work thread

Basically, it's obvious that people like me etc will fuck up putting some of their presents into a working condition. womp and I are currently thinking of ways to make his mp3 work when some of the more knowlegable guys here would be able to do it straight away probably.

So this thread is where everyone can put their problems and have someone clever answer them for them about like sorting shit out on their comp or any other problams with their xmas pressies.

yeah my MP3 player wont work when I try to install the connect player

I know one of the most basic problems with mp3 players is that people leave the 'hold' button on. If switching it off 'hold' doesn't work, then try google searching the error. But again, alot of problems with mp3 players can be avoided by simply switching the hold button off.
