Today me and a mate were laughing about who the hell would want us. I went over to this mates house, all we did was get stoned, eat his moms food, piss, sleep, watch television and drink alcohol. Now when I went to leave I said to his mom "thanks for everything" and she was like "you're very welcome". I put myself in her place, and I think, why would she say that? All we pretty much do is laze around and hog so much food when we are stoned, it seriously makes me LOL.

Because parents love having their son/daughter's friends round as they think ther're popular and then the parent thinks they've done a good job of raising them.

Haha, I doubt it as we arn't really kids. He is an A level student, I am a webdesigner & server admin planning to graduate in computer science and engineering, so that can't be the case.

When I have kids, or rather if I have kids I would never be arsed to let mates rummage through my cupboards, sit on my sofas and generally be in the way. I guess parents these days are kinder than me.

Because you were grateful, and let her know it. That makes all the difference, in my opinion.
