Dont do it dude. I just got the gs150 and it's a fucking piece of shit. I know the gs250 is better, but I really doubt its that much of a difference.

Seriously keep saving man. Im returning mine and that's what I'm gonna do.

im positive, I own the fuckin thing, "the flashlight" is for takin still pictures, and u cant stick pretty much any lense to any camera if u have the adapters. id say if u do alot of day filming get this, if its alot of night, poorly lit stuff dont get it. or buy the light accsessory

Edit: the quality is super, its 3ccd man haha, its got the focus ring which can do some cool effects, ive never had any problems with this cam except the nighttime,

weaks big problem with it is he shoots at night alot.

I do alot of night filming but im gonna buy a good flashlight anyways so I think it will be all good

or is it not the best in night conditions?

yes I am.

yes the raynox snap-on fits the camera...

Night filming is def. better on gs-250 than on older cameras... but night filming is still its weakness... and thats the only weakness it has...

It should have really good manual controls aswell... I was gonna buy it but decided that I dont want to spend 1200euros on the camera(thats the avetage price
for it her) So I got the gs150 which has been great so far... And the nightfilming has been pretty decent...

EDIT: Yeah the focusring has gotten lots of praise!!! GET THE CAMERA! ITS A FUCKING BARGAIN!!!

its hard for me to say, I havent had a real problem with it, becuase I adjust the brightness contrast in editing. if u have a light your good.
id say get it, its awesome and later get a cheap dv cam with nightvision.

I'd probably perfer my Sony 1 chip over this, only because a lot of the stuff I film is in bad lighting conditions. I had the choice of one of those Panasonic 3 chips or a Sony Handycam and I chose the Sony because of it's low light capabilities. Plus I got a 2 year warranty, so if I ever get a 3 chip cam, I can use that one as a backup or as a capture cam to prevent my 3-chip cam's heads from wearing down.
