well my computer keeps doing this shit. I restart my computer, and it comes back. can any of you help me?
it's really hard to make this post since my resolution is so shitty

go to your control panel, click system, then device manager, clikc on the one thats messed up (your video driver) then click driver tab, then roll back driver, and if that doesnt work , repeat except chooose reinstall driver

Re-install your graphics card driver. Open the case, check the model of the GC and then search for drivers. After installing, remove any spyware or viruses.

Probably won't work, as the driver is faulty and it may not specify in device manager. Best to obtain a fresh driver.

When I go into the control panel to do that, it says there's nothing wrong with the driver and that it's "working fine".
Think I should just reformat and save time?

Like I said, reinstall the driver. If you can avoid it, not reformatting is the best way to go.

meh, I would just save files programs and reformatt,
I cleans stuff up anyway

like 1 a month or two months, its cuz of all the cough: software: cough I "buy" and install on it, sometimes it messes up stuff after a while

LOELZ, you shoulda learned by now. My installation of Windows has been going for months and still runs as good as the day I installed it, solely because I don't visit shitty sites and don't install crap. Space is running a little low tho, as I only have a titchy 40GB HDD. After Christmas I am so getting a 200GB HDD. I'll just set it as a slave for backup data as this is a 7200RPM drive so still runs well.
I so want SATA tho.
