We can now read spammers PMs

Just thought I'd notify you forum members, as this may be a privacy issue for some. I have now modded this forum so us admins can read your PMs. Note, this does not affect your privacy as only users whom we know have spammed, or really suspect of spamming will have their PM's read. All selected users are having their PM's logged via an SQL query.

Admins, if you suspect spam you may login to the ACP and check for spam under "View email logs", there will be a new button reading "view PM logs". The messages that have been sent will be titled by username and message title.

I find spam and abuse of the PM privaledge infuritating. I hope I don't have to invade anyones privacy in the future, so DON'T FUCKING SPAM.

Spam of the PM system reciplicates an instant ban without the privaledge of being warned.

I dont think spamming is that big of an issue here and this is pretty gay. cuz u know someone will abuse this.

The only admins are Made, Gazaa, and WEAK. All of whom I don't care if they read my shit, because they're cool dudes.

Lolz. Simple, if you don't spam you have nothing to worry about. Only people we think may spam get logged. If we receive reports of spam, then we check the member out. I seriously have fucking better things to do than read Durans, or most peoples PM logs, believe it or not.

And Duran, it's a bigger issue than you think.

I have only sent like 10 PMs during my stay here on HGF. I don't know what people really even use PMs for. Everyone talks so much shit to eachother in normal threads anyway so you would think that people could live without the whole PM system.

Yeah, after I found out last year that they can read your pm's I have never sent anything I would want anyone to read in them.

But they are usefull for little things that are secretive.
