help!!

okay I have a problem

my keyboard is screwd and doesnt work properly as when you push a button in it takes half an hour for it too come back up again.

so I brought anew keyboard and tried plugging it in but it didnt work.

the keyboard atm has a USB port but the other one has a round thingy.
I havetried plugging itinto the comp where the keyboard sign is but the computer didnt reconise it.

anyone got any ideas how I can get it too work??

Plug it into the keyboard port and restart your computer.

Wait.... You push a button and it does not come up on the screen or the keybord??

If it is on the screen then its your computer... Prob your memory is screwed.
