Video Compressors

I need to compress my Mpeg movie I've created, I want to keep the quality, but the file size is huge, I went with Mpeg instead as to have a good WMV from Studio the file size was just huge.

So are there any really good ones out there, which keep the really sharp quality, but compress it alot, I dont mind losing alot of quality, but I would like it to be good watchable quality for full screen.

I remember DivX having one, am I right?
Thats the best one isnt it, It really compresses it and hardly looses any quality.

So, any suggestions.

I myself would recommend DivX or MPG, as being good at compression, but for good quality AVI or MPG, but that isnt talking with size

I myself use MPG at medium rate, since it is good. <-- period

That doesnt work, I searched for the same one (I think) and Im downloading that, but its only going at 1kb/s.
No of any others? or wanna help me look for a working one Image file not present in the recovered backup

There's plenty of seeds so I'm guessing it's a problem at your end.

Actually it sped up, and its downloaded now.

Its just converting my file though, I dont no where its going to end up, but ill find it, and all I have is a small little DivX box thing, with different choices like; home theater, is this right, so this is compressing it?

Yeah, go for high definition, it'll get rid of unnecessary data and still look crisp. Open the divs movies shortcut to find them.

Thanks man, I've already started converting with the home theater option, and since its a big file I'll see how that goes first, then ill try HI-D.

Install Divx codec if needs be. Open your mpg in VB. Do some video/audio output settings.
File > Save As AVI

Done.
