Homegrown.. Changed?

Is it just me.. or has anybody else noticed that in the past year or so that Homegrown has really changed. It used to be videos coming out all the time and maybe a group or 2 working on DVDs. Now all I see are teasers and promos and I cant see more unless I buy their DVD which is well.. kinda gay IMO. Everyone is working on DVDs these days. I just want to enjoy a nice video every now and then you know? Anyone else feel the same?

I think also a lot of shit comes out during the summer, but now.. it's real dry cause most of us are in school.

but yeah.. things have changed. but I think for the better, cause groups now are getting money.. and making bigger and bigger stunts with MUCH better equiment.

Yeah I hear you, were working on a dvd but we came out with lots of vids, odds are most of you guys never saw half of them but they were out there non the less.

Groups have stopped hanging off of Jackass's and CKY's nut sacks and are now hanging off the sacks of established groups.

We are in such a slup that when a new group comes out with a good or even amazing first video we flip out (LSD Riders).

How sad is it that we expect shit to come from new groups and as it turns out the majority of established groups.

Most of your vids are teasers, the other ones you released you guys admit yoruselvs arn't that great (refering to the diseray by the bay days).

Yeah, I have found that many groups are saving up shit fo' DVDs and not putting online as many videos, which is bad for me as I dont have Paypal. And other groups are just lazy.

we released 2clips last weekend... aand 1 like 3weeks ago... That's pretty good... considering before that we only released a clip like once a year... lol After the movie is done were gonna be releasing shitloads of footage...

There definatly is less footage coming out now, more people seem too be into making a good dvd.

We wont be making a dvd probally, but still we manage not to get anything released. Thats dedication.

That purpose has been from the beginning to make an own stunt movie. That's why we have never released that much on the web

Yes I find it gay as well, plus Homegrown, from one side, has become very boring. There's not really much people around who are dedicated to get fucked up. And I mean "fucked up" in throwing their selves of big ass houses, or doing the weirdest shit. Not "pissing on yourself", "putting a needle through your arm" cause Im getting so tired of that gay/ sm shit. I don't even think that's homegrown, it's just dumb stuff. I'd rather like to see "my view" of homegrown as a Extreme Sport than all this Gayness/ Spanking/ Needling/ Burning whatever stuff.

The parts of homegrown I like are:
- People doing insane stunts and getting away with it.
- Stunts gone wrong are also cool to watch.
- Extreme Sports (Parkour, BMX, Skating, Snowboarding etc.)
- Fucking with the public
- Art (as in Graffiti) and stuff.
- GOOD skits and pranks.
- Fighting

I find the rest pretty much uninteresting and gay. And I also get sick of "teasers". Just share some goddamn footage... like you're gonna get rich of those 100 DVD's you will sell. No, it will cost you more than you'll earn in total. So comon man, stimulate eachother to keep on doing crazy shit because that's why I did the shit I used to do 2 years ago. PE, Triple0 and those groups kept me going and dedicated.

Kuffi, I don't think that anyone of us is thinking of making money on this. The reason why we're saving our footage is so that the people who will see our movie will see it for the first time and be all amazed by it.
There's no point in showing all our footage and then try to make an entertaining 60 minute mixup of all that. At least I would rather watch something unseen than something that you've seen before.

Well ok, but then why not upload your movie as well.. and have people being able to buy it. I mean.. I really want to see all the HG DVD's but I never get to see shit since I don't have a Creditcard and so I can't set up a PayPal account. I simply can't pay people in other countries via that shit so I can never buy a DVD.. so Im missing out on everything.

I was almost sure a little more than a year ago that we would release it on the web once it would be done. But that was way back when I was the only one in our group who was aware of the internet homegrown scene and we just filmed all kinds of stuff without a real direction. Lots of things have happened since then and I think that we have all got a little more ambitious with the movie. So I'm not too sure anymore about releasing it on the web for free. But we'll see. There's this guy, Sakari, from Korso who took out your feature spots from the movie. He thought that it wasn't really in his style. He's kind of in charge nowadays. I hope you understand. He was offering lots of money and he OWNS a grill in both Lapinjärvi and Korso. He's a big shot and he's got plans for us. Sorry vode
