not everything is about money. I cant speak for everyone because obviously everyone has a different reason why they do it. for me its nothing to do with money... sure if we happen to make money from it then great... but I didnt start doing it for money..... its something I enjoy doing, I can use creativity. and because I know people like watching it. when some one I dont know sends me a message saying hey great work or keep it up you make me laugh, it makes me feel good. To me if some knows you but you dont knwo them... thats fame. the fact that people laugh at stuff I do, even if it is at my expence makes me happy. And yeah cameras cost alot.. but they are always handy even after this shit stops. And it will give me something to look back on when im older.... I can look back and realise how much of an idiot I was..... but it will also remind me of good times., will give me something to show my children if I ever have any. theres many other reasons why but I think ive said enough. so yah, thats my reasons.

I think you're really generalizing homegrown groups. Not everyone spends a fortune on cameras, and not everyone always copies someone else and hurts themselves on purpose.

I film and all that because I enjoy it. Simple as that.

Fuck I don't know, the best times I have ever had were with freak.inc. I like hearing people say shit like "wow your video was awsome" or "dude I love your style", shit like that makes me go insane with pride. I always see people with talents, skateboarding, and instrument, art, sports, I spent a good part of my childhood trying to find out what I was good at, filming is what im good at, it's usually the first thing I think about when ever I do somthing. I like doing stunts that people think are on the verge of mental insanity, to push the envelope of what people think you can do to yourself. I mostly like to entertain, all I wanted with freak.inc was for people to think we were one of the better groups in hg.

The whole camera thing, I don't have the money to buy a bad ass camera, but I have sold basicly everything I can sell (drumset, dvds, ps2) to get a camera that wasn't even that great. But I never regreted it.

I know im not gonna get rich off of freak.inc, but I want to finish our dvd so people can have somthing I created in there house and want to watch it and maybe even show it to friends.

I started off filming so that I could document the parts of my life that I'd like to always remember. It's a way for me to relive the moment.

And as Wilbur said..youre making a big generalization. Ive never hurt myself or done a stunt, so I dont know what to say about that. But I will say that making your own video is an awesome experience, especially if it's well received. It's not about the money, it's about the experience of it all.

I just film because I like the fun of editing.

Everything about it I guess. The production, the time I get to hang with DR and people, the laughs, the thrill and risks, a way to capture moments, the editing and the final video - I got something to show for all the stuff I do.

Sounds kinda gay and cliche but ah well.
