I truelly used to think these guys sucked ass, but I started listening to some of their songs and they are slowly but surely becoming one of my favourite bands. What do you guys think of them??

Trivium are slightly too generic, but I do like 'em. I like anything that sounds good, no matter what genre it is...and plus I really need to discover some new music as most of my playlist has been player over and over.

Trivium are also one of my favorite bands. Gman it has occured to me that you truly have a great taste in music, I thought you would listen to like beathoven or some classical shit. But yer, along with Killswitch Engage, Atreyu, Bullet For My Valentine, Slipknot and a shitload of other related bands.
Also, you reccomended Dying Fetus was it the other day?? Do they kick ass?

trivium play good music but to problem is they are far to overrated, they are cocky aswell. so I like there music but not them

I really don't like Trivium... but I guess thats just me and my taste in music..

Haha, beethoven? Fuck off.
I like a lot of metal, it's my favourite genre. Once again, I used to hate Atreyu..but am starting to like them now, opeth is good, GWAR, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Megadeth, In Flames are some of my favourites. problem is that I've listened to so many metal artists that I've kinda got bored of most of them, I'll probably go back to what I used to do and listen to a few underground bands, they're usually pretty decent.

I only had a few songs on limewire, downloaded a load more after, most of them sound quite similar. I don't like that in a band but yeah I do like them sorta, not my thing but I can see their talent

DevilDriver has the singer from coal chamber dont know if you know who they are no longer playign music but a great abnd

True. I might check some of those bands out. I have the same problem, I listen to so many bands of the same genre I have to keep trying to expand my library, otherwise they just seem to 'lag on and repeat' if you know what I mean.
