Ok...ummm, everytime I start my computer up, it always goes super shit slow (thats why I try to leave it on most of the time)
anyways, this time it was going super uber slow, so I logged off my username, then logged back on, and nothing was there except my desktop pic. no bar on the bottom or desktop items...Im running everything off windows task manager right now...everything is running normal speed, theres just no bar at the bottom of the screen to mazimize or minimize windows....anyone know how I can get it back??

Oh shit dude. I had this happen to me before. It was a terrible virus which made me reformat because I couldnt take how slow it was going. It would take forever after I log in, Then the BG of the desktop would come up with no icons or anything. I would wait about 10 mins and then finally the task bar would load and It would go so slow. I couldnt take it so I reformated.

running xp? if so press ctrl alt delete, go to applications tab, and click new task and type explorer.exe

Go to Start click Run type in the run box 'msconfig' click startup then disable them all next click BOOT.INI check /Safeboot now hit apply ok and then a box comes up saying restart click it and it will boot up in safe mode and everything should load up quickly since no programs are loading now open up all the browers you are using and clear the history and everything possible for that browser next run a anti spyware program along with a virus protection program next type in 'msconfig' in the run program and now uncheck /Safeboot in BOOT.INI restart and see if that works. That should speed up your computer pretty well.
