My Christmas present to HGF

Well, I've decided to give you guys here at HGF all a nice Christmas present, a custom skin. I'd really love to make this a community thing, and am willing to spend up to 200 dollars getting a custom skin made for you guys. I'd love some ideas on what you guys would like, if you'd like any of the existing skin integrated into it and if you'd like it curvy, what colours etc. If everybody told me their ideas I can pick some of the best and get it made, then on the 25tjh put the skin online. I think this would be a good community thing, as I'd like everyone to pick a part of the skin so it's a really personal thing.

I have grown quite fond of the present skin, there seriously isn't anything I can think of at the moment to improve or better it. Liking the christmas theme you got going there as well.

uhm, well. I'm not reallying liking the new banner you put up there. Home of Hardcore? ehh I dunno. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

Everyone loves this skin.... But once its changed and they get used to it they iwll be fine. Its just there like old ladys... they hate change but once they get used to it they are fine... just give them a nice sup of tea.

Have it darker, just have it all black, slightly grey on some of the menu parts, and then just have white text.
Or just black, I dont mind as long as its dark.

haha. Its too black now... BLACK AND GRAY! thats it really. yeah I like it dark... but I thikn it is too plain. Once you get used to it I am sure you will be fine.

the "forum navigation" bar could do with jazzing up a bit in my opinion

I also hate the new banner sorry. I cant even read it on my screen...

I Think it should be VERY VERY bright...With yellows and WHITE with blue text and red stripes...With pink bubbles

I actually really like it's simplicity, straight down the point and really usefull. But I'll see what I can do, I made that so it's easy for me to change Image file not present in the recovered backup



I feel kinda the same way, I like the style but I can't read it well on my LCD 17"

I have a LCD 19" and cant make it out. I dred to think what it will look like on my bros 21" crt.

I'll get MADE to do a redesign and make the text a little bolder tomorrow, if he would be kind enough to do so. Don't wanna put to much stress on him as he is ill and working real hard...bless him.

I wouldn't mind something like a lot more open and bright, white and blue font or something I dunno though, maybe just sexing it up a bit, but not so much that it looks overdone, Making the toolbars a bit more interesting or something, I dunno what this would entail so if im saying something that can't be done just ignore me.

Nah your right man. The design is cool now. But thats if you are a reg here. Even though I think it is good I think some people may be turned off from it if there new.

Also if we did upgrade and use a new design we would keep this design for the old timers and they can switch it to this if they want.

please dont make it curvy and round... straight edges are nice... funktionalism

Between the forum there is enought talented people to make our own skin.

Mono - Tomm - Adem - Made = Graphics

Doyle - Kane (I think) - Made - Adem - G = CSS/Coding

We could easily do this shit between us.
Would make a shit hot project for HGF community.
