Windows shortcuts

This should be interesting, for people to learn a few shortcuts and share some they know of.

Hold down the windows start menu button on your keyboard and press "L". This locks your PC.

Control + V (Very well known, but anyway...pastes your clipboard content)

Control + C (Once again, very well known...copies what you select)

Control + B (Opens your favourites on a siebar in IE or FF.

Hold down the windows start menu button and press M (This minimizes all your windows, like show desktop)
ALT + TAB (Switches between windows)
ALT + F4 (Closes open window)
Shift + Delete (Permanently deletes item)
F1 (Help)

CTRL + TAB (For FF, switches between tabs, I think you can use it in other programmes aswell)
CTRL + Z (Undo's last thing you did)
SHIFT + TAB (Scrolls backwards through links and stuff on a web page and other progs.)
I know theres more err

F11 in IE maximizes the box.
windows > R > "mspaint" will open paint
windows > R > "notepad" will open notepad

In most browsers, hold ctrl and with the scroll wheel you change change font size.

Windows key and d returns to desktop, pressing it again will bring your windows back.

Alt and tab change window, alt shift tab change to previous window.

Control + T in FF opens a new tab.

CTRL + ALT + DEL = task manager.

I have no task manager for some odd reason.

• Press down and hold the right SHIFT key for eight seconds: Toggles FilterKeys on and off
• Press down and hold the NUM LOCK key for five seconds: Toggles ToggleKeys on and off
• Left ALT+left SHIFT+NUM LOCK: Toggles MouseKeys on and off
• Left ALT+left SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN: Toggles high contrast on and off

you can right click on your TaskBar and click on "Task Manager" too though.

Well, that's so longwinded it aint worth mentioning. But anyway, good job on stating the complete obvious..hahaha.

if you cant get it to open then you prob have a virus. And its prob a trojan as they blog TASK and REGEDIT.

if you want I can find my old reg file to fix it... if ican find it.

holding alt in photoshop and dragging on an image copys it and drags it, makes easy for duplication.

yeah man, that would be extremely helpful. I have this constant thought in my head that I have an insane amount of viruses/spyware. My desktop always changes (without me doing anything), and when I put a new prog on there it duplicates it, when I go into my computer and look at desktop, theres only 1?

And I alwasy have these fucing .bat and .exe files randomly spawning in my documents.....

I wanna reformat.... but I dunno if I can be stuffed.

If you've got valuable footage on your computer, you don't want virus' running round. Well you wouldn't want them at all, but it's risky.

Someone showed me a shortcut once, that flips the screen upside down. I searched for it on google forever and couldn't find it.

Any clues?

On the desktop hold ctrl and alt whilst pressing the arrow keys in the direction you want it to go. Got paid £20 for sorting out that problem for my nextdoor neighbour, har.
