My CD burner hasnt been working for along time...first it said, "Device not detected" or something like that. So I restored my comp and now it says it burns but the CD still comes out blank. Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Its prob your lens. Clean it... youe meant too after about 20 burns anyway. if a lens gets dirt then crusts over its fucked.

After I burn a CD I always stick a cd cleaner in anyway... this way when I reboot my comp it cleans everytime.

Thats prob it... Its fucked if you have left it too long though.

There cheap now man.... DVD burners are cheaper then cdr burners :P

Just upgrade.
