Deinterlacing Vid's help

As you probably know, we just released our ES Faceoff and it was shit since it wasent deinterlaced. I don't have a clue on how to do it. I searched on google and seen some shit about Divx and VirtualDub but theres gotta be another way. I use Sony Vegas 5.0 to edit with if that's important. Someone please explain how to deinterlace my video. What I did make a mistake on though is I deleted the sony vegas file to this faceoff but I saved the video as full quality MPEG2 so I have that.

Even if I needed the sony vegas file, it doesnt matter because I still wanna learn how to do this incase of another film needs to be deinterlaced. Can someone help me? Thanks <3 biggrin.gif

That's in Premiere. I have no idea if it's the same for Vegas.
