My dumbass sister has done it yet again..

My sister is crazy about being online and it gets annoying I told her what ever just uninstall AIM and go to GAIM or something because AIM is loaded with shit so I remove it and she starts crying about it and reinstalls it.. I need a way to not let her download this program how can I stop her from downloading AIM? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's not mine it's the family computer but I use it to play MOH and it's annoying when AIM starts up and AIM shit everywhere.

Make it so AIM wont start up?

Just set up more than one account dude, make her an account and you an account on your computer (you'll have to be signed in as administrator, but if you only have one account to begin with, that will be the admin account). That should solve your problems, hope it helps.


To Create a new account on windows XP:

Go to Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Create a new account

What are you talking about dude? If she just installs it on her account it won't show up at all on yours, it's like using two seperate computers, but on the same system.

Not on mine, I have an ad on my start bar a stupid AIM program and AIM Explorer in my start menu and desktop and that Titon or something like that.. links to games my antispyware program goes crazy everytime she reinstalls it.

make sure the account doesnt have admin priveledges otherwise all the spyware and viruses that bitch will download will fuck you over later on.

Start>run>msconfig>startup then unclick AIM..

Everytime she reinstalls AIM give her a nice swift uppercut to the jaw. Eventually she'll create a link with installing AIM and being uppercutted and realise she shouldn't do it.

Set your account as an admin accont, then set hers to a limited account, this will prevent her from installing anything. When she bitches, deny knowledge and this stops any spyware installing. Additionally, run ad-aware and AVG to clean up any malware and you're set. This way she gets her shitty programs, and you don't have to worry about her viewing your files and fucking shit up. Just be sure to make your files private in account options.

major viruses will fuck up every account though even if they are private, but if you have any good anitvirus on it that shouldnt be a problem.
