It appears though AIM 1.5 is finally out, and it looks fantastic! A little bloated, but has a shitload of new features and a new interface...

I reccomend GAIM Wilbur, I use it and it really is the secks. I much prefer GAIM over MSN messenger now. Takes a while to get used to, but seeing as I can't get the MS messenger client to work on my connection, and GAIM works fine I didn't have much choice.

Does GAIM let you go onto your MSN name and AIM at the same time?

Yep, and it also loads all messenger clients contacts into one IM window, just seperated by linebreaks according to client. It's the bomb!!11

lol. you hated it not so long ago.

Can you change your MSNM Display pic with it? Its just you always have that shitty dog pic in your display.

Ive always had aim but never used it much... I use ICQ more then aim because they both remind me of eachother and ICQ has more stuff.

And only reason I have it now is cos I talk to weak.

I hate the new aim and msn. All to high-tech for me. Pop-up's everywhere and it's just not basic anymore. You gotta go through like all this shit just to get to something that should have taken you like 3 seonds. But no, they keep asking questions thinkin they are all helpful.

Soon they will probably have some kind of thing called AIM Plus or something where it can hold more buddys, faster IM's (If even possible), and like alot new features for like 10 bucks a month or something.

I kinda agree.... But I find MSNM really easy to use... Only thing that did bug me was that MSN home thing that popped up when you logged in... But I found out you can turn that off.

Only thing I hate is the letters replaced with images... Mostly only chavs use tem but they bug the fuck out me.

I think AIM is more basic.... But I just hate it because of the way it works.... Very old I think. I like ICQ also but that is also very very old but has some nice things

What's with all these 'imporving' IM programs recently. I want a program that lets me talk to my friends, instead I get a program that takes up loads of resources because I might want to play chess or whatever with people :|
