That was pretty good for what it was...

I think you made the most out of the footage you had, however an effective shot would have been the burnt out frame ouf the couch once the fire was out which you could have put at the end.

But I liked it

Chris and I got bored so were editing abunch of film...

The good thing about that is it didn't drag on any longer than necessary. Short, sweet and to the point.

It was pretty lame I mean, you burnt a couch in the middle of a field....

Heres whst I would have done.... I would have shown the clip halfway through, when your pulling it round and shit, and I would have voice overlayed myself sitting in my room going "Oh fuck holy shit noooo", put that ill shit over the clip.... then fade to black, and have the burning frame..... make it all mysterious like, coming out of the darckness, then end clip.

Or you could have sat on it and tried to act all casual, like nothings going on, just chillin on a couch on fire like it happens everyday.

Or if it wasnt my proprty I would have draggd it into the grass and tried to make a insane fire, then I would gap it camera still rolling, with me going "Oh fuck holy shit noooo"

Mini DV... and it's shit...

lol. Isn't the next best those mini DVD thingies? They don't look worth it to me. My footage comes out just as good as any DVD I have ever seen... actually. Once you put it onto the DVD there is a quality loss from the raw AVI's I have to the DVD itself. Apparently a typical DVD is only mpeg quality.

Those mini DVD's are supposedly better than mini DV but like I said, mini DV is high enough quality for guys like us. What really matters is the conversion from the camera to the computer or the camera myself. My newer camera is a sony and the quality sucks more than my 5 year old JVC. I guess you just gotta do your research into it or experiement with them and see what's best.
