How the fuck can you have an entire area of study solely premised on what some people think about varying subjects? Philosophy is of no use outside of merely using the ideas conveyed to base decisions in your life. Is having a subject area about what some people think is right any more academically beneficial than having a focusing on why one color is better than another? The answer is no. If anything, Philosophy (which shouldn't be capitalized because it's fucking stupid) is a basis to begin a religion of sorts. All these "scientists" give their thoughts of what is right or wrong, just, or ethical, which is basically deeming themselves as a god. Am I wrong? Obviously they feel they know what is best for all mankind, right? I guess we just keep philosophy (yes, I'm not capitalizing it anymore) in schools to make people feel better about themselves. After all, any one can have a thought, barring some situations. Being knowledgeable and gaining knowledge in philosophy is of no instrumental use outside of a classroom debate or exam. You gain nothing from this subject matter but random thoughts. I am by no means forming this rant because the subject is hard for me. Philosophy is on the bottom half of my hardest classes list, below Spanish and English. I absolutely despise learning the Spanish language, but I can bare it because I know that in this day and age, knowing the language is very beneficial. My English course, which might as well be a political science class, requires me to stay informed on world issues and politics. The tasks of the class are tedious, but I find myself thankful because knowing what is happening, and how it may effect you, is quite important. Philosophy professors don't do anything useful in life outside of teaching the subject or writing books about their thoughts. It's called a journal, bitch. Make it useful. The subject of philosophy doesn't deserve the privilege of having my thoughts, so I'm not writing anymore. Fuck philosophy. Excuse me while I return to my habitual doodling (I'm in Ethics right now).

Sorry, I wrote that during my philosophy class. Hate.
