It's amazing to see how a whole nation will unite, just to see a football team lose! Man, no one was going' for the Pats.

The majority of the people in my area wanted them to win. I just hated their condescending snobbish attitude they had all fucking year. I'm so glad to see them lose. 18 and 1. Fuck them, losers.

Fuck yes they did! I am soooooo happy to see the damned Pats get their asses beat. I can't wait to see Tom Brady sobbing and bitching about losing. He was so smug when Plexico Burress said the Giants would beat em' 17-14 (which they did). Oh man, it couldn't have worked out more perfectly.

Congrats, Yates. I'll mail you the skull key of doom tomorrow.

fuck you ray youre just mad the bengals and browns didnt make playoffs!! Mass suicide rates are up right now let me tell you tho!

Yeah, it's the opposite hear. Excluding some girls who think Tom Brady is hawt, everyone was FUCK PATS!!! WHOOOO!!

On a different note, it would of been a cool thing to see the first 19-0 team ever in the NFL. Might not even come close again in our lifetime.

sorryabout the double but if anything pats should not be called snobbish!!! you clearly dont konw what you are talking about if you say the patriots were snobbish. pats clearly have the best shown sportsmenship and whatnot ever in football history. pats have never talked shit about anything. shame they lost but the real reason is because belichick wore a red sweatshirt

Allow me to preface this post with this: Cullen, go to fucking college.

I am referring to the condescending way they addressed the media; their feigned "respect" for the other teams; their willingness to admit that they cheated, and then give their head coach (the man responsible for the cheating) a pay raise as a result of it.

When Plaxico Burress said, "The Giants will win 17-14," Tom Brady's reaction was to laugh in his face. He said, "He think WHAT will happen? That's ridiculous." And he smirked and giggled like it was an impossibility for his flawless team to be rendered to impotent. As though he was physically unable to under-perform and not win.

Did you happen to watch the end of the game? There was one second left, one more play left - a kneel down to end it. Where was the perfect coach? The most classy guy in the game, in your eyes? He was already in the fucking locker room, he didn't even stay to watch the final play - to watch his perfect team lose. On more than one occasion, the Patriots ran up the score against an over-matched team. And, those coaches had the decency to wait until the game was over, and congratulate Belichick on a game well-played. And now, his team got their asses beaten, and he doesn't even have the balls to stay and watch? Fuck that, Cullen, you know that's bullshit. You don't leave the field because it makes you unhappy to stay. Your opponent deserves more respect than that.

Don't know what I'm talking about? Fuck you, Cullen.

Edit - I did some fact-checking, Plaxico Burress predicted the outcome would be 23-17, he OVER-estimated how productive the Pats' offense would be. Brady's response was the same.

Ray the reason that guy probably laughed is because elite athletes need to be highly confident to perform. If someone told him they were going to beat him before the biggest game of his life and he agreed what would you think of him then? It's not snobbery its just confidence and almost any other performer would probably have done the same in that situation as long as they're there mentally.

how many times have you watched a football game and teams ran onto the field with 20 seconds left on the clock to shake hands. he knew he lost and he ra nright to coughlin and shook his hand and went off the field like every other game. first time I have ever seen them actoully go back on the field to take a kneel.

Ray a big (might even say the biggest) part of any sport in the world is on the mental side. A winning team needs a confident leader so Brady just said what any captain/qb should say in a situation like that. Even if you know that there's not a chance in hell you can win a game, you still have to stay confident and show your own that we've got what it takes to beat the opponent,. The captain, in this case the QB, is always the last one to go down. Just look at pre-game interviews in any sport, their filled with the same 'arrogance'. Boxing especially.
And Brady did give Eli Manning a lot of respect in various interviews before the game, so he's not all that big of a prick as you might think.
But I agree on what you said about Belichick. Even though it's impossible to recover from a situation like that, I at least feel that the coach should stick with his team at least to the end whistle. I understand that he must've been madly disappointed at that stage (which he should, the Pats played horribly) but still..

I was rooting for NE but I have to admit that I'm no big fan of Brady either.
