No, I installed the fan myself, all was good then I bring it back upstairs and it turns on goes to black screen with flashing _ .
Then it started beeping when I tried turning it on again, now it just doesn't turn on.

Did you hit against a wall kind of hard or set it down roughly or anything like that? You might have knocked it out of place or something of the like.

Thats what I figured, so I checked the ram and removed it and then put it back in.
Still computer wouldn't start. But I didn't hit it on anything or drop it, hopefully the computer repair shop doesn't shaft me on this.

Yep, they wanted to charge me 50 bucks to install that fan, I laughed and asked if they thought I was a total idiot.
Then two days later I'm there with my broke comp, felt like a tool.

Hahaha dude all repair places will fuck you over. I had a broken fan and asked if they'd sell me a new one, but they were like "are you sure its the fan? let me test it" then 5 min later they came back "oh, yeah I guess its the fan, but we don't sell them". At least they told me about some place that sells parts since they weren't really a big company or anything. It's too bad I don't live nearby, I'd fix your shit for free no problem.

Not for all majors, but it is for mine. I have to have 6 semester hours of any foreign language, which equals two semesters basically. Spanish 1001 and Spanish 1002.
