I havn't put my hair up in a while, and its 4:45 am here, and im off to bed soon so im not gonna mess around doing it now haha, but heres a couple from a few months back, I think thats about 8 inches there.

sweet, I had mine up to about 8 inches, then I cut it shorter, and then I kind of let it go, and got dreads, then I cut those off after a while, and got another little hawk for graduation

I also did liberty spikes with my 8" hawk, it was fucking hard because my hairs so damn curly. but I only did like 7 of them total, so they were beastly looking.

haha yeah same here, my hair is seriously curly, I have to sit and straighten it for 20 minutes if I wanna put it up other wise is just flops around everywhere. Another problem aswell is my hawk is pretty thin so has no side support either, so im gonna start thickening it up. im gonna wait for the sides to grow an inch, then cut the sides off apart from an inch either side of the hawk, and take an inch of the top of my hawk at the same time, if that makes sense lol. then eventually it will be 2 inches thicker and all the same length. I was gonna cut it all off and restart, but I love my hair too much.

oh yeah something else, what did you use to hold your hawk up? I use wax, wich works pretty well for liberty spikes but is useless for feathering.

Well, when I did the lib. spikes, I normally used 'got 2b glued' hair glue, works like crazy, also, if you wanna be cheap.... egg whites and elmers glue, you can also do that without the egg whites, it just depends on your hair really... the whites and glue's pretty good for feathering

ah okay cool thanks, ill see if I can get hold of some of the hair glue. Iv'e hear quite alot of people mention elmers glue, but doesnt that completely fuck your hair?

And ya hawk looks cool dude, can see it properly, but I like hawks n e wyas.... soo its cool :smile:

yeah that's a shitty pic, but the only one I have on here.. :sad:

if you use a light amount of elmers, just enough to make the shit stick up, it won't do anything to hurt your hair, you could mix some in with gel, it'd be easier on your hair I suppose
