unless the computer and the xbox are in the same room, then don't waste your time, I bought a router and two long cables. one runs from my computer to the computer upstairs and another runs from the router to my xbox.
if you want the wireless than you still need a wireless router, but you only need router hooked to the xbox, assuming you have a wireless card in your computer.

Just got mother fucking home!!! 8 hour plus coach ride! Fucking 18 wheeler jacknifed across motorway blocking all lanes!!!

Nah im getting a wireless adapter thing off my freind too make hte wireless connection and im getting the xbox wireless reciever thing....the xbox will be upstairs, I cant have wires going from here to upstairs it will have to cross 2 hall ways with laminate flooring and with a young kid running around the house it wouldnt last long.
