They have to fill a 32 episode season with 24 episodes. So they space them ou every so often. Plus one week was needed for a recap as we approach the season finalle.

I watch it every so often. I gotta say, it aint no Lost. But they have to drag it out, I dont think the UK will get these huge breaks as we have a shorter TV season I think. Either way there is no more breaks now untill we have to wait for season 3.
