ok on the solaris bit before, im using it just for experimentation purposes and practise for when I actually need it at work in the future as many of the jobs I have applied for in the past have all knocked me back as even though I have a fair bit of linux experience my experience with solaris was about ten mins of playing around on a mates system..

also G about KDE and Gnome - I love both of em! lol, I prefer gnome though. also I do a fair bit of Xless work, so about a third of the time spent on my pc is spent on the command line :) lol.

but I agree about trying to use photoshop and having to compile all the fucking dependancies, its a task! a fucking annoying task.

oh well ill still be keeping a windows partition somewhere so alls good (when I fucking fix my bastard hard drive :|)
