I dont know why, but every time no matter how hard I try and fiddle around with my settings on my vx2000, the picture quality just doesnt even come close 2 what it should.

the most annoying thing is how grainy the video is. no matter what it always comes out grainy as fuck.

the colors dont seem to be as sharp as they should also.

I bet you have gain switched on on the camera. Gain will make it grainy.

Just had a look at my vx2100 and it would seem that the little dial that controls the iris also puts gain on the camera when you dial it past F.2 So if you look on screen and try and make it brighter with the iris, past F.2 it then starts adding gain and it will start to say 0db and go up to 18db.

My presumption would be that youve left an ND filter on your camera, so the screen looks darker, and youve counterbalanced that by opening up the iris, but youve gone past F.2 and youve added gain, which is artificial, hence the grainyness.

Just a guess.

My 360 was showing the RROD this morning and the power brick light was also red. Just unplugged it all and that sorted it out. Guess the storm last night caused it.

I dont have the nd filter on, but you were right on the exposure iris. I guess everytime now, ill have to keep resetting it, but thanks vode. that helped abit. it comes out way darker when I put it below f.2 but oh well, its less grainy

You should be able to save separate scene files so you don't have to re-adjust everything every time you turn on the camera.

Got chucked out of a club last night literally out of the blue, was walking down a set of stairs and bouncer just put my arm behind my back and then passed me on to two more.

One of em really fucking yanked my arm behind my head and I got rotator cuff problems too so wrecked and I wasn't even fighting or anything. I said to him have you got a point to prove or something and he slammed my head into a wall.

Matt you work at a club etc, what's the best way to go about filing a complaint and actually getting it listened too? My jaw is fucking wrecking couldn't really eat today either and was completely uncalled for, wanna try and get him to lose his licence.

Yeah this is what I'm thinking, there's gotta be restrictions in terms of excessive force especially if there's cctv, literally even if he loses cash for not being able to work for a bit or gets cautioned so he can't be a prick anymore or whatever I'd seriously be keen like, I'm fucking fuming haha.

Bouncers are sly as fuck, they know their clubs inside out so they know where cameras are and where to avoid them. Petrol bombs are the way forward. Or just call in a hoax bomb threat on their busiest night from a payphone.
