Nicked my mates car tonight, was in the pub and he went to the toilet, got his car keys out of his coat and went to the car park he had parked in and took it up the top and hid it in a corner. Followed him there after and hid upstairs and listened to him crapping himself that it had been nicked. No job for months. Then today I get 2 calls. Got an interview on Monday for a place I really wanna work. Which I think I'll piss through.

And also that interview I had for managers posistion of my own place got back to me. They went with another guy who has 2 years more experience than me. But they were so impressed they created an assistant managers position for me. Which is awesome, but only a temporary thing. And it doesnt offer the hours I need.

So if I get through the interview on Monday I'm gunna take that instead.

So, I've taken out an extra 4 grand on my next student for the Winter of 2010. I'm going to backpack across Europe.

No details are confirmed yet. But, I took out the money, so I'm committed. You guys should lemme know of places to see on my way. Thinking I'll land in Ireland, and just start walking/busing/training east. I'll let you know more details as I get them confirmed.

Americans, you're welcome to join me.

Edit - Same goes with you guys already over there. I can pick you up on my way through. Be my personal tour guides. I'm pretty sure I'll be out for around 18-27 days, depending on how much money I save on top of the 4 grand.

Are you going backpacking in the winter? That doesn't really sound like a lot of fun, seriously, especially in Europe.. Summer dude, summer. Most of the places you wanna see in Europe are ten times nicer in the summer, like any place else really. Yeah I'd recommend going for longer than a month to do that if it was me doing it I'd try and go out for about 4-6 months on a trip that big, a month won't be long enough at all.

Well, I took the money out for this upcoming semester because I knew if I didn't do it on the impulse at the time, that I wouldn't do it period. And, I can't take the money out for a semester that isn't next in sequence, so I had to for this semester. I can wait for the Spring, though. It'll give me time to save more, and maybe plan a time to get off for longer than a month.

And Sam, I'd love to get out of work for that long, but I really gotta just talk to them now and see what's possible.

And, I don't gotta go just east. I can go north (Fins) or South, too. I just wanna for sure hit all the major countries. Ireland, England, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Romania, Ukraine, and end up in Russia for a flight out.

Man, putting it like that really makes me realize it'll have to be more than what I said originally. But, I've taken the first major step, which is getting the funds. You guys can let me know where I should go, and a logical route to take to get there.

OR I could go the crazy route, and take a southeast at Ukraine and head through the middle east until I meet my destiny in North Korea. I can go in Rambo style and try to liberate everyone.

Got my final grades in for the year and I'm happy with them. Such a relief.
