Got sent a joly old email today at work regarding Swine Flu.
Containing information like:
Potential Impact on P&H – Worst case scenario
Staff Health
Based on the above statistics (from the DoH and WHO), based on an employee base of 3,800 people, Palmer and Harvey would have:-
Around 1000 staff who acquire the disease
25 deaths
In addition to these figures, it is estimated that staff absenteeism could be around the 50% - 70% level due to the following factors:-
Unable to work – too ill
Unwilling to work – too frightened
Supporting unwell children
Childminding if schools are closed
Unwilling to travel
Willing to work but quarantined

This Swine flu is getting crazy. They're shutting down schools all around the area and my classes might be canceled for next week. I really hope they get canceled I have this essay to do for College Literacy.

Yeah Image file not present in the recovered backup They have closed a good number of schools around me, their is a reported case of it in the town I live. I put Chicago but you know I'm like 20 minutes out in a Suburb, the guy is like 20 years old. There is serious consideration in closing all the schools in the district where I live for a week.
