yeah but google stores what sites you've visited, that just says which is fastest, not necessarily better.

VX1000 should work alright. Just protect it. The thing to worry about most is moisture. Any good camera wont function in moisture. I have taken my vx1000 out and plan to go out when I go snowboarding soon. Just protect it.
