So my girlfriend's family sells fireworks in Little Rock every year at a big warehouse, and they make a killing....more than I'll make all summer in about three weeks. The other day, I stopped by to visit and ended up scoring big on about $300 worth of fireworks absolutely free. WIN.

So I'm applying to be a Peer Assisted Learning leader for next year, basically means I go to a meeting every week with a group of first-years and tell them about Uni life. (Imagine me guiding already anxious people through their first year of Uni, I'm already laughing at the thought).
I'm purely doing it for the money, as they get paid on an hourly basis and it's easy cash. So I'm having trouble filling out the application form, as it's asking all these questions that I really can't be fucked to answer. I asked my mate who's also applied to send me over his so I can take a peek and get some ideas. This guy is the ultimate druggie, a total joker but so, so weird.
Under the question "4. What were the best things your PAL Leader did to ensure that PAL sessions were useful and everyone shared ideas with each other?" he put:
My PAL Leader last year was god-awful. She didn't know what she was doing, and to be honest struck me as a teacher fresh out of training trying to control a group of miscreants, ala Michelle Pfeiffer in Dangerous Minds. With such disorganised meetings, it was a wonder fact didn't imitate fiction and one of us wound up shot to death.
For another question, "Are there any improvements you might make to the ways in which you run your PAL sessions?", he put
I would rule PAL with an iron fist. I'd intimidate any first year that didn't respect me or the great institution that is PAL. If this didn't work, I'd threaten them with physical violence, regardless of gender. This would never go beyond threats, but I believe it would carry my point across adequately enough.
