But, consider this -
There are 30+ countries in the world that don't even have a Gross Domestic Product of 15 billion dollars.
With 15 billion dollars, the Public Education System could have easily pulled itself out of the gutter and live up to the accountability measures forced on it by Bush's No Child Left Behind Act - and still have 5.5 billion dollars to spare.
Or, the entire graduating class of 2006, 2007, and 2008 could have had their college education paid for them in full for 4 year degrees.
15,000,000,000 dollars GONE. It went somewhere, but we have no idea where. What a vast mismanagement of tax dollars. I'm disgusted.
