Really wanted him to come to Bournemouth this year but he didn't, looks like I'll catch him in London over the summer.

I take it he was a great live act?

Absolutely awesome. It's like he has a story behind every song, and he introduces them by saying shit like "I wrote this for my mate's annoying-as-fuck goth girlfriend".

I know he's playing Reading on the Friday if you don't catch him otherwise. But yeah, best night I've had in a long time.

Holy fuck Frank Turner last night was fucking amazing.

Just before he was set to come on stage the fire alarm went off, so we all piled outside, and the man himself just brought out his guitar and started singing on the grass outside the venue. It was fucking priceless. Such a good night.

Found a short video on UTub. Sound quality is shit but you get the idea. Matt got a much better one on his phone.

Hair is all-important: often dyed black and straightened, it is worn in a long fringe brushed to one side of the face.

Music also plays a critical role.

Emos like guitar-based rock with emotional lyrics.

American bands such as My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte and Blink 182 are particular favourites.

Has anyone heard about this?

I guess these two 19 year olds fucked and the girl got pregnant. They made a blogspot page (which has been closed!) http://twomilliondollarbaby.blogspot.com/ saying that unless people donate $2 million they will abort the baby. They're basically holding their own baby hostage against the world.

Pretty genius idea. Their reasoning for the 2 million dollar price is that it will cost that much to raise their spawn from birth until it's 21.

The main catch in their plan is that they say adoption isn't an option. I dunno what I think about it. I'm fairly certain it's a scam, but it's a pretty damned good one. I can think of at least 15 pro-life people I know personally that would give money to this thinking they'd be saving the baby's life.

I haven't heard too much about how much has been donated, I just wish I had gotten to see the blog before it was shut down.

I'll tell you another interesting fact, today I told a coon girl she was far too arrogant for her race and that 10 years ago she would have been my slave.

Really didn't go down well hah.

And people say I'm racist.
