Christmas songs

Is it just me, or does the sound of "BLEH BLEH, RUP PUP PUM PUM, NYEH PLEH" and "OH MERRY CHRISTMAS; FATHER CHISTMAAAAS IS COMING TO TOWN" utterly piss you off? Aggghh, I fucking hate Christmas songs, yet the same overplayed bullshit is unescapable in supermarkets, shops, cars etc etc. Fuck santa!

The first song being the stupid frog right? or did I miss out on some other shite release. You don't like santa? yer the songs are terrible, my parents just play Mariah Cary's old album every year, it's like chinese water tourture.

I hate Christmas anyway, and the songs just piss me off more. The only Christmas song I don't mind is Fairytale of New York. But I fucking hate Christmas, I'm an athiest, why the fuck should I be celebrating a holiday derived from a religion I disrespect?!? And for that matter, why should my athiest friends?!? I'm I the only sane person around?!? Etc?!?

I used to be an Athiest, now I'm more of an antagonist. I partly agree with you, but for me Christmas is not about celebrating God & Jesus, it's about spending time with your loved ones, and having a good time. I just see the songs and decor as a neisance tho.

Cos you get presents, otherwise whats there to look forward too, its barely about jesus anymore anyway, thank fuck.

I don't give a shit about presents though, I'd gladly give up presents to avoid the three-four months of intolerable bollocks that surrounds Christmas.

Funny, I used to be agnostic, but then became athiest. I used to be open minded about religion and beliefs, but then religion, the ideas, the influence, thnignorance and the naivety started to piss me off so much I became athiest.

I don't believe there is a god or a heaven, but I don't like being called an athiest because I don't like being put under some kind of religion even if it's no religion because religion is stupid as fuck

You have a point, luckily here Christmas shit only starts coming out around now, so it's relatively short. What annoys me though, is the Spanish have 2 Christmasses, one on the 25th, and another around January time, which is considered the main one and called "the three kings". Anyway presents don't matter to me much either, as I've got most things I realisticly want (computer, bed, mates & alcohol)

Gotta admit, Xmas is a great excuse for getting wasted, but it's such a pain in the ass when all these gayass songs are on..puts me in a bad mood.
