How do I make Internet Explorer my "normal" internet browser?

it should be in your tools, make it your Default browser

problem solved really

oh and just so everyone is aware...never ever use AOL...they are the devil Image file not present in the recovered backup

Well, I don't know if there's a button or anything, but I know you can go to Tools/Internet Options then click on...Programs, and then there is a little box that says something about making IE check to see if it's the default browser when you start it... click it... apply, and okay. then close IE and open it again. A box should appear and it should ask you if you want to make it the default browser.

Okay, I did it... but it didnt ask me if I want to make it default browser Image file not present in the recovered backup

And whenever I try to save images from internet, it just allows to save them as bitmaps..... and default name for those is "untitled" hmmh... I suck at intraweb Image file not present in the recovered backup

Hahahaah, tahts the reason I got thesee problems in first place. I d/l firefox changes it to my default browser and meh. It doesnt show all pages, it doesnt show all videos, it serioulsy slowed my whole comp down for no reason. IT sucked, I keep my IE.

I find it funny when people blame software. It's renowned worldwide that FIREFOX IS BETTER THAN IE. You probably just didn't install plugins.

Yes I agree Firefox kicks the shit out of IE anyday.

The fact is my computer started to lag and run slow after I isntalled it. I uninstalled it and everything is back to normal.

Thats the only problem I have with firefox, the fact that they expect you to install more shit than just the program files (like plugins etc) for it to work great. I just use maxthon, its a mix of the two.
