Me and a bnch of mates have been into stunting for a while and were gonna make a go of it. thing is we need some tips and ideas. and also if anyone can recommend a good editing package it would be good. thanks guys!

well you not going to be amazing straight away I would recomend using windows movie maker to start with

is premiere pro any good because someone recomended that.

Yes well I myself use adobe premiere pro. However, if you are just strating out I again recommend WMM just simply because it does the exactly the same job as all the other programs, and is x10 easier to use. Especially as you are just starting out you are not likely to know the software of premiere pro like I or other users do, so there is not much point in using it when you can create something just as good with WMM in half the time. Maybe then once you have explored and got good with that program move on to others.
As for group situations, everyone here has been there and done that, and we all know how hard it is to get your group going. But yer, just try to stick to your own ideas, and not to just rip other groups off. It may look good to your avergae person, but here it wont impress anyone. Just try and work off your own back, thats the best sort of advice I can give you. Develop your own style to how you like to edit, film and arrange your group. Good luck.

just push yourself and try not to copy any thing other groups have done

thanks for that. were desperatly trying to think of cool things to do that are hardcore but other groups have already done them and we dont want to rip them off especially if it wont be half as good either

Just live a normal life and don't think too hard on new ideas. At least for me the ideas appear just like that, you know while sitting in the bus, looking at a tv-show.. They just come when you least expect them

k, I used and still ocasionally use pinnacle, it's got lots of features and it really user friends
windows movie maker is good as well, both are good beginer programs
honestly if you want to group to be good, it just takes time, you want to fall into your own style so the vids are fun to watch
think of things you enjoy doing or are good at and work on that, find out what you enjoy watching and film that
people can tell right away if a video seems forced

I get most of my ideas either not listening in class (I don't recomend it), or looking at things I think would make a good stunt, but alot of footage just comes from us just doing what looks like would be fun or funny

just film bush jumps and you will be fine

well I recommend you to start with wmm and then move to sony vegas
as far as stunts just film something you love and have fun thats the right thing to do
