Now I know piracy isn't supported on here, but im just looking out for you guys...

Limewire succesfully downloaded 18.6 gb of porn zip files onto my comp, along with numerous other tracking keys and spyware.

When I tried deleting them, it wouldn't let me, and somehow rebooted my computer and fucked it up - it took everything off my desktop, and fucked around with the settings.

My friend reccomended me bearshare, you download the trial, and search for the full to download. Apparantly its the safest P2P...

Just thought I would let you know, if you use limewire, search your "downloads" or "shared" folder.

I've never had anything like that happen to me. Limewire is the only P2P I ever use, I've been using it for a few years. Although...I never keep it installed on my comp. I just install it for when I wanna download some stuff..and then uninstall it when Im done.

nah. Ive never had any spyware from LimeWire... There the only P2P client I trust.

Defo wont have been them.... Maybe you have some ports open or downloaded sme file.... did you download it from there site?

But yeah if you got a NAT problem try this torrent site www.utorrent.com its new to the scene but uses only 6kb of memory and is so small... since useing this I get 300KBS ad I used to only get 60+KBS.

The nat probs are solved with me now as far as I can see.

Limewire sucks. Bearshare generally downloads everything I need. I mostly use Soulseek for songs. I'll check out Torrents and see if it is better.

on everything you download you have to watch the filesize, if it's ridiculously small for whatever you're downloading, look for another.

yeah man. Theres this one file that have billions of names... something lie 137.7KBS (Cant remember now) and it takes on whatever file your looking for.

I like Limewire it finds everything I need. Those little files that have thousands of names do annoy me a lot though.

If you didn't know that, you deserve to have viruses. And lots of them.

I just downloaded TinXP which is XP stripped down to the boes (You can find it on isohunt.com or TPB) I have installed it on a old old computer and itsrunning faster then my own new computer.... But the main reason I have this now is to just downlaod music and movies... which I use utorrent for as it uses like no memory. Plus I use it for games now which I could not even do when I had windows 98.
