I just got the new Age of emipires game (age of emipiresIII) And im having problems.
Bassically I start to install the program and all goes fine, then it starts installing a program called soundbar.exe. It then stops and come up with a message saying it cant be retrived and ends the whole installation.
Ive tried Mutiple times and it just wont work.
Im running on Xp
Have the latest version of Directx 9.0c
Just recently got a new video card and a couple of months new graphics and sound cards.
Ive tried Turning my firewall of, nothing.
Ive tried everything!
I bought it aswell it isnt from a torrent or anything.
Someone please help.

dude just take it back get another copy

I bought it of a friend who found out he couldnt use it cos he didnt have xp. So he didnt actually use it.
It was still in its original casing.

make sure your meet all the system requirements, I'll look into the problem now.

why not just check the website for FAQ on the same problem, or the forums for the game or something? email the makers.

Just a question... is this soundbar a diff program? If so uninstall it cos it might have problems working with it.
if not check eveyrthing thats running and anything you dnt need close. Use CTRL+ALT+Del to see anything thats running in the background.
I have AOE3 and have no probs. yeah it dont work on anything else expecpt XP
but the nagain... not many people run anything else... and the ones who do need to upgrade (Personal opinion)

They dont let you take back games anymore.... Well you can understand why.
Once you got it thats it... But I guess you can convince them too... I did to get a free CD key for WOW
