1. don't have msn, only aim: r331b1gf15h. You should get some kinda upload page up. So people don't have to try and contact you directly all the time.
2. Mpeg?! Can't you just re-render people's movies to the exact format that you KNOW will work? It's probably be more efficiant than making sure people always get the render setting correct to play in your viewer.
3. I'm on dial up will the 19th. So I do beleive I'll have to wait till then if I can't upload any vids from here at work.

is your theme the lightblue version, or is it darker and smaller
my editor wont let me save as mpg and then work correctly to nsv, like the one you just noticed was blank
and it isnt just a free for all thing, its regulated content, but we may make a upload page so people can submit content, but they may only be in the far future

hey man, I can't upload to FTP's from work either. Could I render it to a .mpg and upload it to dfilms? You could DL it from your own site and have the file in .mpg format.

IE sucks... but I think FF sucks now. I used Opera for awhile and might go back soon.... At the mo I use IE with Google toolbar which works great for me.

Since there is little content available at the moment, and I am currently converter a few videos to mpg, they may repeat, this is because the program streaming videos is just a randomizer and selecting the same number again is a faily high occurance.
As the amount of content grows it will become harder for the randomizer to select the same number again, for obvious reasons in probability.
This is why we need content, it gets very boring and uninteresting to watch the same videos over and over. A few people have sent me videos which I am currently converting to mpg, and then to NSV which is the streaming video. I have a few people who are in the process of filming/editing there creations, and another person who may make a top videos show, where the top 5 for a week or something videos on dfilms get featured ont he show and possibly have either a commentary or interview with the group/person.
It works like this:
On my computer I have installed streaming program called NSVTools, which can convert videos to NSV and then also Stream them.
There is a folder where the video files go into, in NSV format, and then using the above streamer, it sends the data to the disturbedfilms.com server, which has Shoutcast DNAS installed, this intern streams it to users that have either opened the stream through winamp, or through the player on IE. It also controls intro files, downtime files, administration, and statisitics.
When someone opens the stream it connects the stream on the dfilms server, which is playing from my computer from a program which randomly chooses what to play, the user is streamed live video from whatever is streamed, about 15 seconds delay, depending on network preformance.

I can't convert and send you stuff right now due to the fact that I'm at work, and at home I have fucking dial up, but ANY b.I. stuff that you wanna render yourself and throw up there is cool by us.
We've got 100+ videos to choose from, so yeah, if you need content, look thru and pick what you want on there.
all we ask is that you don't edit anything about them, evar.
I'll be trying to contribute fresh stuff when ever everyone here gets moved in to where ever and settled n shit.
