ok my computers been acting very strange these past few days, its running very slow for a windows XP , I think there mite be a worm or big virus or even a hacker hackin it, I need to know how to clean it out , bcuz now I cant even have a few programs open without the hole thing freezing, can sum1 help me!

but my mom will bitch at me cuz this is a recently new computer not even a year old yet n its getting fucked up n I dont got alot of comp smarts compared to sum of the guys on hgf so I need there help

1 get antivirus software (avg is free)
2 get a firewall (I use zone alarm pro)
3 ctrl alt delete and look for anything weird. then google it to check if it's dangerous.

Run the anti virus shit, if anything comes up clean or delete. Run a spyware removal program such as spyware sweeper (www.webroot.com). Turn of remote access on your properties tab. Check the task manager as mentioned. Also try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 on start up as it could be a config problem. Then post what happens mofo.

Spyware program run one if you have it, anti virus program run it, go to start, run, type in 'msconfig' go to startup programs unclick them all for a faster start up.
