3 shows, 3 nights, 11 bands. I saw tons of live bands this weekend, here are some thoughts on the best ones I saw:

8. Death by Stereo - I was surpised by the guys. There CD made them sound old school punk, but at the show, he screamed tons, and went brutal at times. Not bad at all
7. Unearth - I like these guys, so it was cool seeing them live. ONly played 5 songs, but the ones they played were some of my favs
6. Slipknot - I thought I would hate them (I only know 2 songs by them) but I must say, they put on a great show if your into them. One of the loudest bands I've ever heard. At one point, they told the entire ground to crouch low on the ground, and when the singer said "Jump the FUCK UP" everyone jumped as high as they could and the entire floor became a pit. Quite a visual.
5. Emanuel - They put on a good show, screaming was awesome, I met the singer that night. Good guys, check them out
4. Saosin - Sounded great, singing, instrumentals, everything was good with these guys, I need to check them out more
3. Senses Fail - Fucking awesome, Buddy sounds amazing live, exactly like the CD. And the screaming was fucking brutal. AT one point, Buddy just put the mic in his mouth, held it with his teeth, and screamed. Awesome show, make sure you guys check them out live, you will not be dissapointed.
2. As I Lay Dying - Fucking awesome. Just brutal everyone, I almost died in a circle pit for "94 hours." Extremely intense, crazyness everywhere, awesome. They are coming to the Quest the 11th, I suggest everyone go.
1. Avenged Sevenfold - FUCKIGN AMAZING. They did not scream that much, but I didn't care. The singing was awesome, instrumentals were nuts (Synster Gates is Godlike at Geetar) and the crowd was extremely into it. I loved every minute of it. Awesome stuff

All in all, great weekend, but Im dead as fuck. I'm going back to bed now.

ARE YOU KIDDING!!! only 2 songs... wow. Slipknot is bad ass live. My friends went and saw this tour, I saw the last one. I heard that Joey didn't do a drum solo, which was AWESOME when I saw them, and either Mick or James (guitarists) one of them wasn't there due to a mountain biking injury... But dude, they put on one of the best shows live that I've ever seen.

I like this band a lot actually. I've only seen vids of them live and heard about it, haven't been able to go to a show yet.

I saw the TOC when it was over here in the states... It was pretty sweet... I didnt stay for the whole show though.

KsE puts on one of the best performances I've ever seen, especially for a band that doesn't deal with crazy backdrops and stages... They just entertain better than anyone.

And SOTY is crazy live from what I've heard, I didn't get to see them though...Image file not present in the recovered backup
