Fisheyes

ok, so im looking to but a good quality clip-on for my Mini-DV, it's got a 30.5mm diameter on the lens.

So I went on to the jessops website so I could find the right fisheye for my cam, BUT I DONT KNOW WHICH TO CHOOSE

If you're going to buy one, I'd suggest you try it out first hand (go to a shop).

I received my fisheye for my Canon XM2 today (ordered it off the internet) and although it fits on the cam it leaves a massive black circle around the screen which fucking sucks...Now I gotta re-sell it.

Same thing happened to my other camera. It screwed on fine but the circle around the screen wasent even close to bein a circle. LOL, it was all messed up. Huge black round off on the right and the left part wasent even a circle. Was so off. I might buy one for my new minidv but I dunno. Maybe I'll just get a Wide angle lens or something.

Yeah sucks. Mine was a wideangle...Didn't know there was a difference between fisheye and wideangle...The effect looks the same to me.

I think wideangles just increase the left and the right, but fisheyes increase all round

Can't see shit on that pic, its so small.

But for miniDV cams just get a cheap RaynoxQC303 snap on semi fisheye lens.. worth your 30 bucks for sure.

yeah thats waht ripoff, sst and retardz(not sure) uses.

ist very cheap and effective great value for your money !

this is hard to answer becuase no one knows what your looking for, if your gonna film like real close up I.e. skating you'll prolly want one with a real wide angle .

this one will have a real decent wide angle and bubble distortion, good for like skating n shit

yeh its a great lens 'sept its really unreliable

its got these bits attached to the lense he has....and he snapped em off by accident...there pretty weak...so now it wont attach

I want to but a cam soon a Sony DCR-HC19E
and I beleive its 46 mm

and I need to buy a best lense for skating
that I can film skate and shit...any help would be appreciated ppl
