okay I just got the danger doom cd and wanted to listen to it, so I look around my house for the cd player

I looked every wear, then I checked a desk I never ever check because it's so small

what do I find

3 mini dv tapes of old footage I thought that was lost forever (deleted from my computer and I usually tape over all my tapes) I found all kinds of things I originaly thought I had taped over a year ago

I swear to god my mom needs to stop moving my shit

has that ever happend to any of you

either way im so fucking happy, there was old faceoff footage on there (failed bottle rocket out of arse, lost slap a chick footage), there was a bunch of our old talk shows, there was our old fire blowing, and even our "hidden" camera on nuggeto's grandma (fucking hilariouse shit)

the dvd just got alot better, only problem is I have to start working on this wedding video for my aunt so I can delete her fucking wedding footage from my comp and have room to upload all this new footage

and to remind you all this was all shit filmed a year ago I have been missing for a year

I've found old tapes before and been happy. I keep em all together now though, so I don't lose them.

if I learned anything from this is that I can do what I want and never have to face any consequences, the footage will always magicly appear

thats why I keep my tapes in a plastic bag in the garbage

I put the footage on my computer and tape straight over it, otherwise I would've seriously filled up at least 150 tapes. I <3 watching old footage though, I've still got the footage from the very first stuff we filmed.

I never use the same tape twice, one time we recorded over some bullshit and it made the new footage have lines through it and it made the footage look like shit

haha thats great. Yeah happened to me before. Was watching all my tapes and writing down the times for everything on which what had what on tape. I labeled em Tape 1 and Tape 2 and so on. Well, when I watched all 24 tapes in my box, I remember we filmed stuff I never seen yet. So I looked under my bed for a long time and felt 2 more tapes. I was happy biggrin.gif.

Im glad the dvd is gonna be better now, that rules!

lol, I did the same fucking thing; except I only wrote tape 1, 2 .... on the CASES of the tapes, so after a few hours of watching tapes and taking them out of cases....things got confusing as fuck. (I'm not sure why I didn't just write it ON the tape). Anyway, congrats on finding the old footy Al.
