Ok, I installed my audio drivers but I am still not getting any sounds. What am I doing wrong?

I'm guessing that you reformatted your computer?

if u reformat your hard drive it will delete your drivers... you need the correct driver reinstalled. that is what I meant.
trust me, I had my computer reformatted about a year ago and went with no audio for about 10 months, it drove me insane.

I understand, but Mike did a shitload more than trying to reformat his computer, it's totally been fucked over with viruses and shit... so he was working on fixing it for most of the night after we made sweet lov...able robot costumes!

I looked up the sound drivers for my motherboard, installed them, looked under the device manager and it says everything is fine. I reformatted and installed twice because it fucked up at the very end. and was on the phone with tech for like 1 1/3 hours. and john and I make sparks fly when we make lov.........able robot costumes.

take your computer to pc club or some other technical computer store. they should install the proper drivers and have them working for about $30.

Sound problems are the hardest to diagnose, the best way would be to get a tech to do it remotely.
