Unless you have a very popular website, I doubt ads will help you get that much money. Most ads are based on per click which give very little for each click. Think about how many times you click those type of ads on other sites, little yeah?

you need a powerful site for that to pay off man. You have to be able to control large quanities of traffic.

Right now on the WS site I can command about 2000 unique visitors per month..meaning I can send about 2000 visitiors a month to someone elses site. Thats pretty good with all things considered.....you need to do about 5 times that if you wanna actually make some cash with ads.

Once I remember the password to the image gallery on our site and I get a digi cam Im gonna start updating and adding on a regular basis and I think my traffic will double. Also Im planning on adding the video gallery soon too.

I just think that if my site gets the attention it does now with there being hardly any content and blogging about basically nothing, I cant even imagine how things will be once I start filming again and making worthy updates and adding content.

dont bother with google ads unless your running somthing more content based like a news website or a lyrics site otherwise you wont get the clicks you need. I got 970,000 page views last month and I still only made like $70 from advertising. This month I made like $5 and I had the same amount of visitors. So it really depends on the effort you put into it.
