I'm gonna do everything I fucking can to promote this thing. Hand out any number of flyers here in town, at my college, everywhere.

Moody I don't hing you should give us the DVDs free, I think even charge a couple buxks to us, just to add to money for commericals, ya know. I'm sure if you in this DVD you wouldn't mind paying $5 for it.

my boy jeffro works for tech n9ne and he has connections to get dvds made, fliers, he can get me 1000 dvds for a little over a 1,000 dollars if I wanted to do the tpm dvds myself, from the dvd to the shrink wrap and everything inbetween he can get them done for a dollar and seven cents

7 extra cents for the shrink wrap

next time he logs on hit him up he comes on the forum under jeffro, he can hook anyone here up with promotions he works for me and has done promotions for tons of big names. He taught me all the shit I know about it.


other than that I joined a label and promotions company, I can get commercials on the radio in my area, on big name radio stations for 60 dollars a week if I wanted, promoing any of our shows.
Hiring a promotions company is a great idea if you have one in your area

but in all fairness we made the project together...moodys gunna be making an assload of cash from this...we anit....why should we have to pay for our own project rico?

and honestly you guys paying for it wouldn't be supporting the scene independantly it would be supporting mainstreaming homegrown

if you want to support the scene just review vids, tell groups there doing a good job, buy there dvds

encouraging groups is free and can do alot more for the scene than paying for advertising

I'm giving dvds to the groups involved for free. Rico has a decent idea to raise money for the commercials but that isn't necessary. I much rather just prefer having help from you guys getting the trailers online everywhere, using myspace, using the internet anyway possible. I expect the dvd to be succesful and if everything goes right I'll have made enough money in about 1-2 months once the dvd is finished to pay for the test marketing of the dvd on tv. getting the dvd commercials isn't too good to be true, it is just going to take money and it can happen.

I'm going to have a designer create the dvd box artwork, dvd face cover and the poster/flyer in the next week. I'll have the flyer ready through buck or through a local printer. This could be a good form of advertising but the posters should only be posted where they can legally be posted.
