hey I need some help, my screen turns itself off on start up and wont turn on unless started in safe mode. any ideas how to fix it?

windows update?....since I reinstalled sp2 my monitor wont go above a certain resolution

The exact same thing happened to me man, and come to find out my hard-drive was going bad.......Not for sure though....just and idea

This happened to me last year, bought a new graphics card and it worked. Not sure if you have the same problem

just took my graphics card out and pluged screen into the old port and its working now
thx
now I need a good graphics card that will let me edit with smoothly

Iv seen the state of your comp. I think everyone should rally together and get you a new one.
It could just be I faulty monitor. Iv got one you can have webb. only problem is its got a big cock drawn on it in red marker. if u can figure away to get rid of that its yours.

well the monitor is working now it isnt plugged into the graphics card
geuss it was that.
didnt my pc die while I was in hospital?
oh and I only just got the marker n dr face cleaned off the side of this one.

Its videcad you are looking for, noy a grphics card, it doesnt really do anything to video.
