Ok I need to rant a bit just got really annoyed.

About three years ago we got a skatepark built. The government agreed to update it regularly but most importantly to repair all damages weekly. This meant that they could step up security at local spots and we couldnt use the excuse we had nowhere else to go.

They kept it up for a few months and thenh stopped. Skip foreward 2 years. Everyone's wasting their lives away in this shitty skatepark. I quit about 2 years ago and I went back down today. No body skates anymore because they're bored of the park. They can't go anywhere else or they get kicked out and the place is trashed. Part by chavs part by general wear and tear.

It just fully bummed me to see how to gvmnt just gave up on their projects and the effect its had on all the skaters around here. They don;t skate much any more and just sit about in the park all fucking day. drives me mad!

I dunno I think roughly 30-60k not sure on that. When we were pettitioning for the skatepark in the first place we had a shit load of names and stuff. Then instead of going to people with experiance they went to the groms and they asked for a load of stupid shit. Plus they made it out of some fibreglass material that's all bendy n stuff. I think they just suck in my town lol. See where you're coming from but like I dunno they just sort of got rid of the problem and now doing nothing about it and not sticking to their word just annoyed me

Wierd ours is ina place called victoria park. It's made out of like fibreglass which bends to fuck. Caused the screws to like come out plus like coping and stuff like that get fucked by the pegs on the bmxers spesh if its that fibreglass shit.

I think the government have bigger issues than skate parks to deal with

I'm not so sure the council will do anything about the park, the amount of shit people had to go through to get it, it just seems it's there as an excuse to keep skaters off the streets.
