I dont know if anyone else has noticed, but you can hardly see a commercial, and or show now days, that doesnt have the 'trained professional, on closed course', or the old 'warning these stunts were performed by trained professionals'.
Just for the hell of it, I sat down last night, and counted how many commercials had these warnings, you can see in the bottom on the screen, in white letters. I saw a slew of car commercials with the 'professional on closed course' and other various commercials not pertaining to stunts of any sort, but about products containing warnings like 'no not attempt' and 'trained professional do not attempt' and it just pisses me off how fucking ignorant some people can be, and how (PC) our country (america) wants to be. A few years ago, you never saw all these constant warnings, and disclaimers, I say that they should let the stupid attempt the fucking stunts, and kill them off one by one. Thank you for your time.

We don't get that over here. The British people are extremely cynical and don't respond well to being told the blinding obvious. Mind you, we have gone far too PC with stuff like the word "Brain Storm" being banned as it may be offensive to people with epilepsy. It's like wtf, go stand under a fucking strobe light bitch, cos I want my word back.
17 October 2005, 21:02 UTC#3
PC is bull shit... I think everyone should say what they think... if you dont like it.. dont listen to it
17 October 2005, 21:07 UTC#4

17 October 2005, 21:43 UTC#8
never underestimate the stupidity of man. were are an ignorant race.
17 October 2005, 21:46 UTC#9
I think the overall reason the whole "profesional driver on a closed corse" thing is used is because Half of the population of America is dumb as shit.. and thinks because he or she is American they can do anything like an expert.. then people get killed tryin to do the things they see on tv
17 October 2005, 21:53 UTC#10
well. The reason McDonalds has warnings on their cups of coffee saying 'warning contents hot' is because some bitch spilled it on herself, and the cup had no warning, so she sued McDonalds. and Yes alot of 'americans' are fucking ignorant ass, people that blame others for their stupidity. Its sad.
17 October 2005, 22:20 UTC#11
pc is bullshit
especially in homegrown videos
you know what I mean and if you don't, your an idiot
17 October 2005, 22:38 UTC#12
The companies aren't trying to protect US, or be P.C.
They're trying to cover their own asses. From the # of lawsuits involving people copying shit on TV, those warning are basically insurance against anything that could happen.
Don't blame the U.S. man. It's morons everywhere that ruin it for all of us.
Not that those tiny letters ever ruin anything, like....ever.

I think its pretty stupid. If you wanna be stupid then let them if they get hurt then that is there fault.
The Mc Donalds chick FUCKING hell how dumb do you have to be.... ummmm coffee I thought it was cold.... Tell the dumb bitch to get a life that is whut I would of done.
If ppl can't see the dangers then its there fault and should be resonsible for them self.
18 October 2005, 08:09 UTC#14
Pfft suing McDonalds because she didn't know a cup of coffee was hot? That excuse for a chick needs a common sense injection Image file not present in the recovered backup

A babies passport was confiscated at an airport because the picture of him didn't have a top on, and it offended a muslim passport checker person (or whatever there called).
PC is fucking ridiculous, especially when things that english people dont have a problem with are changed to suit the ways and religious belifes of people who are from other countries, living in OUR contry.
18 October 2005, 09:17 UTC#16
heres a good one, apparently (although I dont live in america) someone saw the red-bull advert, drank some red bull and jumped out of an apartment building (red-bull gives you wings) then sued the companie for false advertising. People this stupid deserve to die.....

Ok I don't claim to live in the USA and know the laws. But I thought it was the land of FREE SPEACH and shit like that.
A women was kicked off a plane for having a MEET THE FUCKERS t-shirt. She was asked to cover it and she did. Then when she yawned a religious nut was offened again and asked if she could be kicked off the plane.
That is fucking bullshit. Its a fuckling t-shirt get over yaselfs. I am sick of ppl blaming shit for there problems.
Like the ppl in usa schools and stuff like that blaming DOOM and MARLIYN MASON for the school killings.
Its a fucking game. I play games like GTA and DOOM have I done a mass murder. I listen to rap music dosnt mean I wanna go rape a chick.
Ppl do things because they WANT to or they are stupid. So that is THERE fault so they should be responsibale for there actions

America is really stupid, and the UK is following. I'm not saying the people are stupid for the most part, as you get idiots everywhere. But the laws are pathetic.
an example of something I heard from the UK.
-Can't call a cop a policeman, must be a police officer to prevent discrimination.
I mean, why? Why fucking bother, who gets offended over that shit??!!?? And all these adverts on UK TV that go "Injured yourself at work? Here Elaines story" Then the injured fuckbitch comes on and goes "My chair broke at work and I managed to spill tea down my front, I made a claim from bla solictors and won 5000 pounds" fucking stupid bitch shoulda lost some weight. Why claim against your employer when it isn't their fault. Things like these get laughed at over here, so that's one good thing about not living in an over dramatic, civilised, law dependent soicety.
