I'm basicly retarded when it comes to getting my own .com
I want to by a domain for famousvideos and I want to be able to host videos too
and I might need some help putting a sweet layout together but, that is where I think homegrowndesigns is gonna come in handy.

Ok. Go here to buy your domain. No its not the cheapest but it will save loads of problems in the future (Ask Yates and many others I have helped). It will have anything you need now and anything you might need in the future (It still is cheap though!)

Then buy some hosting... I use www.hosting-pp.com and so do some thers. but there is dfilms if you want to keep it in the family.
next when you have the details to your hosting you get a DNS (SOunds complicated but its not) just input this into your domain site where it asks for it. Job done.
Then sort your site out. Upload it (get this www.smartftp.com great FTP client and easy to use)
Then your all done

only thing I do buy but you dont have to from the domain company is "privacy" which stops anyone finding out your info. Like address, name, phone number and other stuff you HAVE to give. Its saved me so many times! And it also stops spam
But you can prob get it cheaper... not looked. Its about $10 a year so cheap.

Godaddy has domains for $9.20 a year including taxes, ive gotten 5 domains with them and they work great

Yeah Wilbur told me of Godaddy, I might go with them to. According to him there pretty good.

Its about the same as the link I gave you. I have used godaddy.... Not as many things but still good. I guess it depends on what you like or who you ask really... all the same at the end of the day if you just want a domain... Just the llink I gave you has more things for the price and some you normaly pay for.

Made, what kind of deals can you hook up with regarding that hosting? Cause I'm still hosting everything on my old schools server and I don't really know for how long I will be able to do that before they find out. Probably until early 2006, but I would just like to know for how cheap you're going Image file not present in the recovered backup
